I'm currently downloading the Yosemite image on my virtual machine, waiting a few hours for it to finish (6mb/s internet).

I currently have a 500gb SSD in my Asus laptop. My partitions are setup like this:

1: 512mb EFI Boot Partition (Currently containing grub2)

2: 8gb Linux Swap

3: 120gb Linux Partition mounted at /

4: 120gb Windows partition

5: ~220gb free space

I'm planning on adding 100gb for the Mac OSX partition, and replacing grub2 with clover. Windows and Linux are both installed in EFI. The last ~120gb will be a shared NTFS partition for storage.

The unibeast installation method states that you MUST format the entire drive to install OSX. Is there any way I can just install OSX on the fifth partition and change the bootloader? Or, if that's not possible, what programs should I use to backup my Windows and Linux partitions to restore later if I do have to format the drive to install OSX?

Thanks in advance.
