My system doesn't require much modification in order to make it fully functional. I'm writing a specific guide for myself and others about making it Hackintoshable.

I was trying to reduce the number of proprietary tools/apps for getting this system working, but stumbled into a problem.

Previously, I used Unibeast to create the USB installer. I thought it was rather redundant that I use Unibeast for the grounds of a Clover-based system. So, I tried using TonyMac's Clover guide, with this script:

sudo /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ Yosemite.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/USB --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ Yosemite.app --no interaction

It goes through the motions of copying the files without any errors. I installed Clover to the drive and it is indeed bootable, but it's own install partition is not visible in the bootloader. I also tried this with the old method of restoring InstallESD.dmg to the USB drive, but had no luck. What the heck?? It seems the created partitions are not valid or bootable themselves, but I don't know enough to check or fix this.

I have Clover (and iMessage) working properly on my main SSD, so it's not a Clover problem.

edit: Forgot to mention... I cannot select "Install RC scripts to target drive" inside Clover while installing to the USB drive. It says the drive must be bootable.
