OK so I realise this has been asked before, but I just thought I'd see if anyone has made any progress. I am deciding between a GTX 970 and R9 390, although the 2x the VRAM for a slightly lower price means I am leaning toward team red. Has anyone got a working R9 390 build? If so, was it a simple plug & play, or did it take patching? Also, would following this process http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/298443-r9-290-non-x-yosemited-help/ be of any use, seeing as the 390 is supposedly just a rebrand? Cheers, sorry for the n00b questions
