Screen won't come on w/out nv_disable=1 (Yosemite)

If I don't put nv_disable=1 in my boot flags, my display won't come up.

With the flag, I can get to my desktop, but obviously only at 1024x768.

I've downloaded and installed the most up-to-date available drivers (WebDriver-346.02.02f02) to no avail.

Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 Intel Core i5-3470 CPU

Any ideas on what I can try?
