I benchmarked my read/write speed on my 500GB Toshiba 501LJ and was shocked to find it was writing @75MB/sec and only reading at about 50MB/sec. It is connecting via SATA3 port, but only running at 3.0Gb.
I might switch it to SATA2 port if it will help, but I am at a loss as to what the issue might be...
Motherboard is EliteCorp (ECS) H67-H2-M3. Running Yosemite 10.10.4 via Clover in PBR. No Clover SATA fixes do anything to the speed. Using AHCIPortInjector kext (modded for External DVD fix for internal DVD not working). Added 3rd Party SATA kext, to no avail.
Anyone with any ideas? I would love to hear them!
