What should I use to try out Hackintosh?

Hey guys,

I would like to try Hackintosh on my desktop. I currently have a 120gb SSD with Windows 10 on it and a 1TB HDD for data. I was thinking about installing Hackintosh on my 16GB pendrive and see if it's totally compatible with my config. (4440, HD7870) Is that a good idea or will it screw up my W10 installation?
