IF you are experiencing slow transfer rates with your newly upgraded system running Yosemite I have a fix. Apparently Apple released version 3.0 for SMB with Yosemite and it is crap. Down grade to SMB 1.0 either using terminal or this app. http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/50723/smbconf
