- OS: Yosemite (10.10.5)
Everything was working fine until I installed an audio interface with its audio drivers, and after reboot I started having the following issue:
The system boots normally up until the apple logo with the loading bar. It loads up to around 50% to then show a black screen with an inactive mouse cursor in the top left corner.
This is what verbose mode shows before the black screen (showing only where the verbose mode stops, as I read it is where the issue normally is):

I tried turning the system off and on again around 5 times with the same results. Then, after several tries it suddenly booted normally to the login screen like nothing happened. But after turning the system off and on again, the issue persisted. After another round of tries verbose mode ended up showing this screen instead of the black screen with cursor:

I don't know if there is a pattern to this or it is random or what is going on, but for every 10 boot cycles: 1 boots normally to login screen, 1 shows the weird panic screen, 8 freezes in a black screen with visible inactive cursor.
Anyone has any idea of what's the problem and how to fix this?
Thanks for your time.
