My primary computer is a Hackintosh I built several years back. Ever since updating to Yosemite, I've had a problem where the sound stops if the computer goes to sleep for a few minutes or more. (When I force the OS to sleep, then wake it up a few seconds later, nothing seems to go wrong.)
Here are the specs:

All of the settings are also shown here. I'm considering updating to OS X El Capitan to see if the problem moves, because I didn't have this problem when I first built the Hackintosh using OS X Mavericks.
Can anyone help? This isn't catastrophic, but it is highly annoying.
