Get iATKOS Y

To get your iATKOS Y release, follow the 3 steps below..

Basics:

- It will be sent one by one over a high bandwidth source to donators.

- It will be sent to your e-mail address as a personal torrent file. 

- It will be sent in 24-48 hours if you apply the 3 steps below correctly. If not, you will get an email for further instructions.
Priority users get their releases in a few hours (less than 12h).

- Previous iATKOS donators whom donated at least 1$ before the date 9th of February 2014 for previous iATKOS releases, do not need to re-donate for iATKOS Y, they will get iATKOS Y and the support for free if they like to. They just need to fill and send the form below this page.

- iATKOS M users need to re-donate if they want to get iATKOS Y.

- iATKOS Y is also a general OSX86 release but unlike previous releases and like the iATKOS M, iATKOS Y has an improved auto-detection and auto-configuration software that configures the installer for its target computer. You can viewBasic Information topic.

- Each iATKOS Y dmg image (which is sent one by one to donators) is locked to its target computer, is unique for its target computer. Simply, every target computer only works with their own iATKOS Y dmg release.

- Donators that are willing to upgrade a part of their computers do not need to re-donate, they should just contact us.

- I suggest you to see our Example Installations and Hardware Compatibility List (HCL) to have a view about iATKOS Y before getting it.

- Do not forget that iATKOS Y is an OSX86 release which is only for testing purposes and there is no guarantee that it will work on your hardware. Get it only if you like to.

- If you want to continue using Mac OS X after testing, you should buy a real Mac from Apple Store.

Follow the 3 steps below to request and download your iATKOS Y (Mac OS X Yosemite) release:

Step 1 ->> Donate to iATKOS using PayPal or Bitcoin.  (Why donate?)

- Minimum donation amount: $10 / €9 / £7 / 0,05 BTC

- Priority service donation amount: $20 / €18 / £14 / 0,1 BTC

- One donation for one computer.

Step 2 ->> Create Hardware Information Report of your target computer.

- Hardware Information Report on Windows: Installhwinfo32/64 and get the fully detailed information (.txt, .htm or .log file).

- Hardware Information Report on Mac OS X: Download and run info.app. It will create the info.txt hardware report file on same location.

- Hardware Information Report on Linux: Create lshw dump with root privileges (sudo lshw > report.txt) which includes detailed hardware information.

- Hardware Information Report with no Operating System: If you do not have an installed operating system or if you don't want to use your operating system to create hardware information report, then you can fire up a Linux Live CD (ie. GParted Live CD, Ubuntu Live CD), boot from it and create thelshw dump with root privileges (sudo lshw > report.txt).

>> Do not change the hardware parts/configuration (including internal hard disks and solid state disks) after sending the form, otherwise your iATKOS Y might not work <<

Step 3 ->> Fill and send the iATKOS Y Request Form.
