I have tried to hackintosh many machines and I only have had 1 outcome. Failure. Utter failure. Either the laptop that was hackintosh compatible was the same model, but different factory from the impossible to hackintosh machine. I tried helping another friend hackintosh but it has been months of troubleshooting and it kernel panics whenever it feels like it and doesn't leave anything useful in the blogs. I've talked to many people who have attempted hackintoshing for their professional build, but they all just gave up, and bought a mac pro. How do people get these amazingly successful builds? Even with an exact parts list, following a list of steps, it just fails.
Is 60 + hours of my time is worth the maybe $1500 I'd save?
