The goal is to have a Hackintosh Build that would run on OS X El Capitain (or Yosemite). The reason for this build is to be able to run Final Cut Pro X and iMovie. I would mainly be used to edit 1080p video footage on FCP X but if possible would like to be able to upgrade components in the future to edit 4k video.
Main Goal: - Be stable, running minimum OS X Yosemite - Capable of editing 1080p video on Final Cut Pro X and iMovie Secondary (Not Necessary) Goals: - Upgradable components, when I get a little more cash - Can edit 4k video - Can run premiere pro pretty efficiently
What is your maximum budget before rebates/shipping/taxes?
Currently located in Canada but will be referring to everything in USD. The goal is to have it at $500 but will be willing to pay up to $650USD for a stable and strong build (4K Editing)
When do you plan on building/buying the PC? Note: beyond a week or two from today means any build you receive will be out of date when you want to buy.
I can purchase the parts and build it immediately so if you have recommendations for a build I will do it right away. Other than that I hope to be editing videos daily by May so any build before March would be ideal. I understand that it'll be out of date by then but having specs as a guideline would be helpful.

Would like a nice looking case, preferably black with USBs near the front. Although it is not necessary.
