As in the title - I've successfully installed OSX Mavericks (after quite a bit of time futzing around with Yosemite & El Capitan). It got all the way through the install, and at first boot just booted up to a spinning beachball.
So I booted to safe mode and it came up fine. I created a user account & ran MultiBeast from there to install audio & FakeSMC, but it still boots up to the beachball.
If my google fu is strong, it seems like there is an extraneous kext causing some kind of problem? What can I do to start tracking it down? Specs:
