Hey guys. Semi noob here. Played around in the past with various versions of OSX on various hardware combinations but have now decided to run with a dedicated Hackintosh using an HP ProBook 4520s (Gen 1 i3, 6Gb, 128GB SSD)
After following various blog posts/guides and pulling information from them to manage to get Yosemite on, I have a working laptop (albeit with a USB WiFi dongle as I can't get the integrated adapter to work). The thing I'm missing is being able to use and external screen. HDMI or VGA are both not working. DPCIMANAGER only shows 1 port (despite me patching my DSDT and one of the driver Kexts, as advised)
I can provide more information but can anyone offer any suggestions?
