[Question] Boot manager not detecting my UniBeast USB Acer Aspire VN7-591G laptop

I've followed this guide up to step four where I'm currently stuck. In my BIOS settings I have the:

1. F12 boot menu enabled,

2. boot mode set to UEFI,

3. secure boot disabled

4. and I've moved the USB HDD up to the 1 position on the boot priority order.

When I load up the boot manager my USB device isn't listed. If I switch the boot mode to legacy and try it does show up but the device won't boot.
