When booted with "-x", I see all my network devices but neither the wired nor wifi devices get an IP address. When I manually set the ip address I can't ping the router.
I haven't gotten it to boot successfully yet without "-x" and suspect a kext conflict / problem.(see this post for detail). Since the network is "there but not there" with "-x" I'm trying to establish the expected behavior so I can either focus on it, or start looking for other things.
So...should network devices work or no when booted with "-x"?
