Got mostly everything running ok, just a few things I'd need your help with!
I have an Alienware M17xR3 with a 2630QM, 16GB of ram, 2hdds, one ssd with Windows, and another 750gb hdd for OS X. It had a dedicated GPU, the 460M. I have a modded bios installed for extra options.
So, first thing is my graphics. I have qe/ci, that's all good. The thing is is that every time I boot OS X, I have to go into my bios and disable "Special Features" under Video. It disables graphics switching. In Windows, I can boot with out disabling this, but the annoying part is just having to go into the bios every time I switch the OS.
Next is wifi. I don't think it will work, but Bluetooth does, so maybe. My card is a DW1501, which j think is based off of BCM something, not sure how to check?
Also, my USB 2.0 ports are not working. I have 5 USB ports, two 3.0, two 2.0 (not working) and an eSATA USB port, which I use to chard my phone while it tethers to my computer over Bluetooth.
The rest are just some minor things, like not going into sleep when I close the lid, or SD card reader not working. I don't really care about those.
Sorry for the wall of text, but I'm not sure what to do. I have Kali Linux, so I can extract my dsdt, but I've never used a dsdt in a hack before, don't even know how to boot with it.
