Can someone with a 10bit monitor and a Nvidia Geforce GPU see if OSX outputs 10bit color? If you go to System Report -> Graphics -> And under your display, what it says for "Pixel Depth". 8 bit color is ARGB8888 and 10bit is ARGB2101010.
I would like to upgrade my monitor and see if it can take advantage of this with a Geforce GPU. I read online that Nvidia allowed this option recently via a firmware update. I do not have space in my machine for a Quadro card, and would like to keep the 980ti for the dual booting + windows gaming.
