Okay I never post for help because i am impatient and figured that someone has already been in my situation. Given that info after weeks of struggle i got el capitan to easily boot and install on my Alienware 17 r2.
Intel 4720 HQ Nvidia Geforce 970M 3GB and intel 4600 HD 1 TB SATA killer atheros e2200 wifi
When booting from usb clover basic things such as laptop keyboard usb ports and mouse and screen work. and well nothing else, 7mb display, no wifi, get internet plugging my iphone in with a hotspot.
Start off, After installing clover onto the osx partition so that i don't have to depend on usb to boot... instantly the keyboard and mouse functionalities are gone this is with the config.plist copied from usb to pc otherwise it wont boot.
FakeSMC and the ethernet e2200 are in the 10.11 kext folder of clover on the partition still no wifi
After following all guides and installing intel 4600 kexts and changing the 0x0 id in clover config to what was on the guide still no graphics, and the fake pc id or whatever all the fake kexts needed for it, I still get that crap 7mb display
I'd completely wipe the drive and try something different re install and a different kext installation method.
Result? Ive tried using multiple kext installers putting kexts in system/library/extensions and the clover bootloader kext 10.11 folder and one and the other if not both at the same time kext inject on also tried with detect... nothing
Tried Multibeast, nothing Tried Vietnam tool nothing its as if kexts install and dont function.
I know i have the parts this vatsalyavigyaVerma guy with an alienware 15 and exact same parts has os x el capitan with full functionality
Stuck with a crap os x el capitan with no functionality wifi from my phone and a 7mb display.
So after installation, Getting Clover, Mounting it with clover config, copying the config over from my usb, booting the pc from the osx drive not usb clover, what do i do to get at least wifi with the parts specified above and 1.5gig display with my intel hd 4600??? and to get back keyboard functionality and laptop mouse don't need immediately because i have usb keyboard and mouse that i can obtain the required files with
