After a couple hours of troubleshooting my DSDT not compiling, I've finally managed to get my laptop running well. It's a Toshiba Satellite S40B, with an i5 4200U, HD 4400, and 4GB of RAM. Very snappy, and sound worked out of the box ^_^

I used two patches for my DSDT:
Brightness Fix (Haswell): Needed to use IntelBacklight.kext to enable the brightness control. Full range, from the backlight completely off to very bright.

Haswell iGPU: Fixes the iGPU. Patched that, and the GPU is working fine and running well.

Extra kexts I used:
IntelBacklight.kext: Enables brightness control.

ACPIBatteryManager.kext: Fixes battery status. I thought I'd need to patch the DSDT for this, but surprisingly everything was already fine and didn't require patching.

Right now I'm using Chameleon, but I'm about to switch to Clover to prepare for an upgrade to El Capitan.

Boot flags I used:
debug=0x10 IGPEnabler=Yes GraphicsEnabler=No -no-zp nv_disable=1

The only things that don't work are obviously WiFi and Bluetooth, and the brightness function keys. I've got a USB WiFi adapter on the way, so I'm basically done! :D
