Hi, so I've just run through installation of my first Hackintosh, I feel like I'm 95% of the way there and up to now everything has gone surprisingly well - but I've hit a bit of a snag.
First of all, my setup - my motherboard is a H81M-E34 and I'm using an EVGA Geforce 960 graphics card. I've got Windows 10 installed (using UEFI) on one SSD (currently not plugged in) and El Capitan installed on a separate SSD.
If I boot to Clover on my USB drive, and then select Boot OSX from hard disk, everything works fine. But I can't seem to get Clover to work on the hard disk itself - if I boot to my Hackintosh SSD I get the message:
"Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot service and press a key"
There's also something else funny happening here - where my windows sad and the usb both show in the boot menu as UEFI, the Hackintosh SSD does not - it seems to be setup as a Legacy drive. Not sure how to change that or if that is the cause of my issues?
Anyway I have tried installing clover, using clover configurator, multibeast etc, and at some point I think I've screwed something up. Now when I click Mount EFI partition in CloverConfigurator, it goes green (as if it has mounted the drive), but the drive does not show as mounted in finder. Also when I look in /Volumes I can see an empty folder called EFI, but not a drive.
Does anybody have any ideas? Thanks
