clover efi on separate physical drive

Hi,

Is there any reason (other than wasted space) not to have the clover partition on a separate physical drive to the OSX install?

This way, if I decide to switch to a bigger drive, or have more than one OSX install etc, I can easily swap them in and out without farting around with clover, right?
