I built 2 hackintoshes early in 2015, both running 10.9.5. One which was a super budget version. Being a newbie, I used tonymac for both versions. I used the cheaper one for a month or two and didn't touch it for more than a year. I encountered freezing problems at first, but I applied a questionable fix called 'freeze fix'.
Recently, I've tried to use this hackintosh again and it freezes a ton, mostly within the first few minutes of startup. After like 3-5 restarts, it stops freezing. I suspect that the freezing has something to do with the ram in the system. I was wondering if a reinstall with clover will do anything to fix my problem or if I just need to buy different ram. Also, I've since determined that 'freeze fix' doesn't do much, if anything. So I just removed the program.
Thanks
