Hey guys,
I'm in charge of assembling this editing computer for my company. My boss would love to go with a full Mac ecosystem (the other five desktops are already Hackintoshed) but I am afraid the components I have to play with are not (yet) compatible.
Processor: Okay, so, my boss purchased a processor off of ebay that is supposedly a Intel Xeon e5 2699 v4, although it seems to be a test chip, as the physical chip reads "Intel Confidential", and my Windows partition reads the processor as "Genuine Intel(R) CPU 0000 @ 2.10GHz". Thoughts?
Video Card: Gigabyte GTX 1080 Founders Edition
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-X99-SLI
Power Supply: Corsair RM1000
