I built a gaming pc last summer and i've been getting more and more into photo and video editing lately. The pc works great, it's just that i am really tired of using windows all the time.
So i've been looking around and found that my parts are good for making a hackintosh, but for some reason it just refuses to let me install.
I found a few guides, one by tonymacx86 and one that was supposed to be alot simpler here.
So i have flashed the bios and followed everything in the guides exactly, but when i get to the point where you boot to the Snow Leopard disc using iBoot, it tells me that Mac OS X cannot be installed on this computer. I have been googling around but found nothing that helped me. I also tried "retreiving" different versions, Lion, ML etc.. But none worked. Oh btw, i used an SL disc that came with my friends Unibody mid 2010 MacBook.
So if anybody could help me with this i would gladly appreciate it.

MB: MSI Z77 mPower CPU: Intel Core i5 3570K GPU: MSI 660Ti PE RAM: Corsair Vengance LP 1600 dual 4GB sticks PSU: Corsair AX760 Modular PSU HDD: WD RED 1TB SSD: Samsung 840 PRO 128GB ODD: A HP disc drive that came with my i3 3220 PC
