Setting Up a Storage RAID (possibly with Fusion)

Hey guys,


I'm looking into building a hackintosh and have an SSD I want to use - but I'm going to need more storage. So I have some questions:



  1. Can I just create a storage RAID (I won't be booting from) just as I usually would without any extra fiddling?

  2. I don't know much about RAID - if I have two one-terabyte drives in a RAID 0, will Time Machine attempt to backup (assuming full) one-terabyte of data or two?

  3. Can I set up this RAID with my primary SSD as a Fusion drive? How painful would it be?
