Hello guys, i have succesfully installed mac on a ga-79p-d3. Everything works fine, except for my analogue 5.1 surround set. I'm using the iMac 14,2 smbios, which worked a bit better than the mac pro 3,1 smbios.
The soundchip on my motherboard is an ALC887 I'm using these kexts, installed with multibeast:
- ALC 887 / 888b current v100302
- Optional 3 port (5.1) audio
- Intel 9 series motherboard support
The front headphone jack works, the front mic jack works. The green jack on the back works.
However the 2 other ports, which are seen by my computer as a line out do not.
Does anyone know a way to fix it? If it helps, on windows i could select my jacks and remap them however i wanted.
