I am attempting to build a hackintosh that will be a Pro Tools machine. Every time I plug in a usb device besides my mouse, keyboard, or wifi dongle it freezes. Sometimes immediately, other times it is delayed. While attempting to run Pro Tools it froze because the iLok USB key was plugged in. I had to restart the machine, and it got stuck at the apple loading screen, even though it booted up just fine before. It is worth noting that I had my firewire audio interface plugged in.

Build:

MoBo: Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3P (BIOS version F6) Processor: Intel I5-3570 Ivy Bridge RAM: 8gb DDR3 (can't remember which brand) Hard drive: Kingston 120gb SSD

The BIOS is set to optimized defaults, changed to AHCI mode and Vt-d disabled.

Multibeast settings:

EasyBeast 1080p display mode
