Hey, so a few days ago I built my new x99 build which included an i7 5820K, SLI 970s and a GA X99 Gaming 5 Motherboard.
After many days of frustration, I was able to get my system up and running. I actually managed to do it with the first installation although I somehow managed to format the HDD that OSX was installed on. After about the 9th install, I was able to get my system up and running.
I've went through multiple installs including vanilla, distro and custom distro modifications and finally have my system running on OSX Yosemite 10.10.1.
I haven't installed any audio kexts/drivers right now, so I'm going to do that in the future.
