I have 2 drives. SSD for OS X and HDD for Windows 8. Everything on Yosemite and Windows 8 was working fine the day before; basic web browsing and gaming was done. I haven't changed settings for both in a pretty long time.
After each startup for both Windows and OS X, the screen freezes about 15 seconds after reaching the desktop for both and never comes back to normal. I tried booting into safe mode on Yosemite and the same thing happened.
This happened at the same time for both operating systems so I'm thinking it's a hardware issue, would that be correct? I searched the web pretty thoroughly and found that it would either be the memory, motherboard, or power supply.
All of these items are about 4-5 months old and I don't use my computer too often so I don't know what the problem would be.
