I've been running my hackintosh for about 2 years now and need to update for the first time as I'm getting alerts for no more support on certain programs, hoping for 10.10 as 10.9 sucked ass.
Just wondering how the update process goes seeing as the number 1 rule I see is don't update from the app store. Do I just make a new USB install drive? If so can it be run in the current OS and update from there or is it like starting from scratch and have to be booted to directly?
