I have an old 2006 MBP with 10.6.8 Snow Leopard on it. I updated some things (after not having turned it on for a couple years) and went to the app store. I was presented with a Yosemite download.
When I clicked free download, it said, "Yosemite cannot be installed on this machine." And that was it.
I was intending on just using that and going the uni/multibeast route.
What should I do from here? I don't have another Mac that I could get this from. Is it possible to trick the mac store into downloading it anyway somehow?
Thanks
