Over the last four years I have had terrible luck using mixed hardware not designed for Hackintoshing. My results were mixed and varied from kernel panics to audio or video not working properly. In the end I would reformat and just install windows, always feeling like I cheated myself form the holy grail of getting a stable system running.

This last week I have had a somewhat(big stretch here) usable Hack, but the audio typically causes kernel panics and the video card does not provide a decent frame-rate in WoW to be playable and no power management, no sleep and restarting or shutdown never happens.

So today I am purchased the following equipment that should get me on solid ground:

Antec P280 Case Samsung 850 Pro 256GB SSD LG GH24N Internal DVD Writer Intel Core i5 4690K EVGA Gefroce GT 740 Corsair Vengeance 8GB Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD7-TH

I have found many threads on here and a few other sites that helped me pick the above items, so a big thank you for those individuals who did a lot of testing and troubleshooting that allowed me to pick out working items.
