So, I've been trying to fix my laptop-hackintosh for the past few days and I've got it mostly working. Except a very annoying propblem with the GPU.
The problem is that the GPU sometimes work fine, but most of the time it only reports 7mb vram, no QE/CI, and very low fps. It seams to happen pretty randomly, so it maybe works every forth boot or so.
I use Clover to boot on a UEFI motherboard, I've tried all 11 ig-platform-ids, tried updating the bios, and a bunch of small settings in the clover dsdt settings ("FixDisplay_0100", "FIX_INTELGFX_100000").
My setup is a sony vaio svs1512 series. With an i7 4-core intel CPU, Intel HD4000, and a discreet Nvidia m650 extra GPU. Trying to make a tripple-boot with: Yosemite, Win 8.1, Archlinux.
But I just can't get it to work, or find any way to make the problem at least consistant.
So does this ring any bells with anybody?
