I'm trying to create a dual boot system. I've already installed windows 10 on 1 SSD and pulled that drive out. I've been following the step by step instructions on tonymacx for creating a dual boot system on 2 SSDs. My system is as follows
Mobo - ASUS Maximum VIII Hero CPU - Intel i7 6700k
I'm using the Mobo built in graphics for the hackintosh install as recommended by tonymacx. However as an fyi I have a gigabyte GTX 980ti that I plan to use.
So I've created a bootable El Capitan usb with unibeast. I've configured the appropriate settings in my UEFI, per this guide http://ift.tt/1VyS3Mj
The computer successfully boots into Clover via the usb, but when I start the installation it just gets stuck on the black screen with the apple logo. I ran the installation with the boot flag "-v" and took a picture of where it locks up.
Any help would be much appreciated.
One thing I'm wondering... I read somewhere that the USB drive should be plugged into a usb 2.0 port. I tried that and still nothing. However my usb stick is a 3.0. Would this matter?
