Hi there, in the process of deciding which parts i want for my new PC I've been meaning to do this for a long time but with the release of the GTX 1070 and GTX 1080 and their price/ performance its finally prompted me :)
Im looking to build a deluxe Mini its build capable of running PC games flawlessly, VR headset and hopefully run on OSX as soon as possible with the GTX 1080 for a bit of photoshop etc It also has to be dead silent so ill be fitting Be Quiet fans and coolers throughout.
Im wondering what mother board and CPU i should be getting for a build like this? I don't think i want the latest and best of parts as its too expensive. Plus one that runs OSX very well i.e. iMessage and i don't want to bottle knock the GPU.
I was thinking getting the Corei7-4770K and the Asus Z97I-PLUS Mini ITX
Are these a good buy? will they bottle neck the GPU and give me enough power for a couple of years?
Anything better? for my build and requirements? Can i go for a different combo for the best price to performance?
